spring rush?
 

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if there is an informal spring rush at ole miss? I think AOII has one, but I'm not sure about the others. Thanks!

Yeah, the first thing I did was e-mail them, but they told me that there is no formal spring recruitment. I was talking to a few girls the other day though, and was told there may be an informal thing.

i would be surprised if any of the sororities at ole miss held a spring informal recruitment. they usually all pledged quota and are way over total.

There are at least 3 or 4 who have done Spring Recruitment in previous years. However I don't know about this year. I would contact Greek Life office like some others have mentioned. They will be able to direct you in the best manner of what the process is. You might have to sign up or something.

WOW! I hadn't really put Ole Miss rush stats together in my head. Quota over 90? All groups make it?

Is the issue with expansion that no new group can make it in that traditional a campus?

If I were Director of Extension, I'd be hesitant.

It is very likely that they may be bidding without recruiting, i.e. they have 3 spots open, and already know of three women they would like to pledge.

The sheer cost is probably a reason as well...........

I just can't imagine being one person in a chapter of almost 400.

No one is opposed to a new chapter. However, at this time I don't know where their housing would go. I know there are some older threads about this on GC.
