Hot News!

Delta Gamma will re-colonize at the University of North Texas beginning February 26, 2007 thru March 2, 2007. We were one of the original founding chapters in 1953, left campus in 1976 and have been invited to colonize this year!

If you know any DG's who have transferred to UNT, please have them contact me at vpmembership@deltagamma.org

If you know anyone who would be interested in Delta Gamma at UNT, please have them sign up with the Greek Adviser on campus.

We are very excited to bring this chapter back!

This may be a little off-topic but what exactly is the difference between a chapter and a colony?

You have to start somewhere...a colony is when all the girls are new members, when they are initiated, they become a chapter. The colony and young chapter both get an incredible amount of support from EO including a live in CDC for a while.

Hi All! My name is Becca and I am a new member of the Gamma Nu chapter at UNT! I just wanted to say thanks for all the kinds words! It has been a BUSY past month and a half and this weekend is going to be crazy! Tomorrow we have two girls competing in Miss Greek UNT, we have a ritual, and on Sunday is Initiation/Installations! Every second so far has been so great and I can't wait for the future! :o

Hi Everybody! My name is Katie, and like Becca, I am also a new member to the Gamma Nu Chapter at UNT. I just wanted to say thank you for all the support everybody has given us. Congrats ladies! I was a member of a colonizing class too and know how crazy it is getting a colony off the ground. All your hard work is going to pay off tomorrow on a day you'll never forget! We are so excited to have so many new beautiful Delta Gamma girls!
