what is a wedding mixer
 

hi everyone, i'm new to this. and i'm also the new social chair for our chapter. and i was wondering if someone could go into a little more detail about the wedding/divorce mixer for me please! thank you very much.

I remember going to one of these. They took two decks of cards, one for men & the other for women, and then you found the other person with the same card. You could get "married" to that person, and then switch cards, get "divorced" & "remarry." It was fun.

Our Wedding Social was a little bit different. We had to match up words with the guys.... Like a girl would have the word Play and a guy would have the word Boy and they got married. In order to divorce they both have to take a shot of tequila. It was a lot of fun, I didn't get divorced though, because I knew that would have been a pretty bad night (toilet), lol :)
