Winter/Spring rush
 

How's it going for y'all? We gave out around 30 bids tonight... Our recruitment chair (my little brother) has stepped up and has done a hell of a job. We got about 9 guys in the fall, which is usually the larger rush for us at UCF. We're pretty excited about it.

Good luck with those bids. I have no idea how Spring rush is going for my chapter. Typically, we pick up about half to a third what we'd get for Spring. It might be different this year. Our guys are participating in the 10% Challenge.

Rush started today, tonight we have a BBQ. It seems like its gonna be a fun rush. We're going to lazer tag tomoorrow and at one point I think there's a spahgetti (im sorry I dont know how to spell it) eating contest...it should be interesting, haha... A bunch of Sigma Kappas surprised us when they all showed up to campus in gold and white or black and white baseball t shirts that say "If I were you I'd rush Sigma Nu" on them...I love those girls...I think we're gonna do alright this semester. Everybody's pushing to get a big class cuz a decent chunk of bros are graduating in may, so hopefully we can fill that hole and then some...but yeah, I'll eventually post an update on bids and stuff...but if any of you are in the SoCal area, more specifically Orange County, LA, Riverside, San Bernardino, you should come to our events if ya want. www.csufsigmanu.com should have a map or address, always welcome! Strubbe, do you know Josh Wheeler? He was a former commander for mu psi. He comes up here to UNCC with David Williams to help us out sometimes. In fact he was here this past chapter meeting on sunday.

It's like rolling a snowball down a hill buddy. You get going, and that momentum builds on itself.

I know you said you guys pretty much doubled your size over the past year. Keep up the great work!

Yeah, I'm pretty good friends with Wheeler... He's a great guy. I'm sure he has plenty of embarrassing stories about the Mu Psi chapter to tell haha... Listen to what he has to say though; he really knows what he's talking about. We all miss him a lot down here.
