is it true that Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. was supposed to be the tenth chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc?... the Kappa Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha was founded January 13th 1911...

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc was not even founded in the same state.

Why would there be that connection???? :confused:

That's just an urban legend. There is no evidence to support the myth in either organization's history books.

i just heard that the chapter that was supposed to be chartered at indiana couldnt get the proper funding... u all know where they got that from... and well... i made that connection because kappa means tenth... alpha came from alpha phi alpha.... and Nu came from... well u all know where that comes from....and why it came from there.... so just put a little thought into it and u will see why i thought so....just my thoughts, nothing personal...

Often times members of GLOs will perpetuate urban legends because they are entertaining. We usually lose the "urban legend" disclaimer along the way until it gets distorted and just plain wrong, if any of it was ever true at all.

If you can't find it in a book, it's best not to believe it.
