Road Rules returns Jan. 30th at 9/8 C

It's very different now, more of a mini-challenge than the traditional RR; they are bringing back 6 RR Alumni, every week one is nominated to get voted off and must face off against a newcomer (Pit Crew), whomever wins gets to stay in the RV.

All the cast members are on mtv.com (can't access from home), but they are:

Kina-Extreme
Shane-Campus Crawl
Veronica-Semester At Sea
Abram-South Pacific
Adam-The Quest
Susie-Down Under

Oh God not Veronica! Seriously, this girl needs to get a life!

I'm excited to see Shane though, Campus Crawl was the first and only season of RR that I watched in it's entirety.

I thought it was hilarious that some of the "newbie" people said that Adam was too old and he needed to do something else...like get a good job & get married, but no one said that to Veronica. Lol...Veronica seriously is an attention whore, and i'd probably pulverise her if I saw her in person.

Jesus H. Christ I had to rewind the scene where the Roadmaster's going over the rules because it was just so darn confusing.

What's cool about this challenge is that it's all happening in real time. Viewers vote online for the RR-er they want to be sent into the pit.

I don't know, judging from the first episode alone I'm not all too impressed with what I've seen so far. Heck, I didn't even know the new season started until I was sifting through my DVR library and saw that it had recorded it.

The $10,000 they win per challenge is cool. But a freaking Mazda 3 as the handsome reward? Ya gotta be freaking kidding me. The Pit Crew's annoying me already -- you can tell these are wannabe RW/RR castmates who got rejected the first time around.

Looks like Miss Veronica's been hanging out with Nicole Richie much. Not surprised that she still haven't found something real to do with her life.

the pit crew did annoy me too...it almost felt like watching an irritating episode of "next" blech

I watched the first epi twice and I still don't understand. Are they really doing this real time? The roadmaster bothers me. He looks like a robot when he's talking with his hands.

My. Has Veronica aged.

They have to be or else this whole viewer interaction thing would be pointless. Plus, there isn't an abundance of spoilers out there like other challenges that are taped ahead of time.
