If you could see yourself the way the opposite sex sees you, would you...

If you were someone else of the opposite sex, would you find "you" physically attractive? Also, once you met "you" would you find "you" interesting enough to want to date? Finally, once you got to know "you" a little, would you be interested in starting a relationship with "you"? BE HONEST.

To the first one, yes. I take good care of myself, exercise, and dress well.

To the second, I sure would. I have a lot of interests and many things to talk about. Plus I am nice to everyone and not hard to get along with.

Third one, depends. We may argue or at least butt heads too much since I am headstrong and determined. But I do have a long fuse and it is hard to get on my nerves. So perhaps.

1. I'm speaking in terms of most women. Yes, if I were the opposite sex, I would find PrettyBoy attractive.

2. Once I met PrettyBoy, at 1st I would think he didn't talk enough. I would think he was too quiet, so if I were the way most women are I would move on from that point. I would probably think PrettyBoy wasn't interested, so I wouldn't get to step 3. I would move on. On the other hand, if I really wanted to get to know PrettyBoy more, and he started to open up, then I would get to step 3.

3. Once I knew PrettyBoy, yes, I would want to start a relationship with him, because he doens't hang out, drink, or smoke or do drugs. He has interesting hobbies and he likes relaxing at home, so I wouldn't have to worry about him running the streets. Especially if I were a party animal, I would feel comfortable knowing he isn't.

So basically, if women can get past my quiet personality, then I'm really easy to get a long with.

I agree! Just because you get dressed doesn't mean you dress well.

i disagree, this is actually a question i pose to my girls who cry about not having a boyfriend or only attracting a certain type of guy.

For some people, knowing how they come off to the opposite sex can "help" them. Not saying that you should change you to get a man - that's not the point. Sometimes you need to be aware of the vibe you're putting out there.

I think it's good to have self-awareness and to be honest about yourself, but I think it is kind of awkward to post it on GC. It puts the people who reply in one of two (bad) positions. If you say something bad about yourself, you're putting yourself down, and appear to be fishing for sympathy. If you say something good about yourself, you will look arrogant.

ooooooooooooooh. o.k. i get what you're saying. i didn't look at it like that. :)
