MTV's Maui Fever
 

Honestly, I wish I could say I didn't like this one, but I "sneak peaked" it at 430 today, even though it airs tomorrow (well Wednesday) at 1030 and I've got to say -- I'm a fan. It's that good old drama we hate to love...

I refuse to watch this show.

When I first heard that MTV was filming in Hawaii, I got excited.

Then I got pissed when I found out what it was going to be about. It figures they'd choose only the haole kids who live in a part of Maui that's atypical of what it's like to really live in Hawaii. Forget about the locals who live in Pakukalo or Upcountry, right? They don't make for good TV. :rolleyes:

As if the locals didn't hate on them already. I feel sorry for them once the show starts. Locals can be brutal. I hope it only lasts one season just like Surf Girls.

Yeah, I guess the fact that I know nothing about Hawaii locals or anything helps me enjoy it. Then again, I knew just as many people from/around Laguna who hated that show too... oh well.

I'm not even remotely interested in this show - MTV has been blech to say the least with some of this stuff they are coming up with lately.

OTW, you need your own show - that would be the best thing on TV :D
