Hey...

My school's Sigma Chi chapter doesn't have it...so, what is Derby Days?

Derby Days is to benefit Sigma Chi's philanthropy, Wallace Village. Our Sigma Chi chapter had different events for sororities to compete in like derby chase, lip sync, etc.

It's a fun time, as long as no one takes winning it too seriously!

Derby Days is our international week-long philanthropy for the Childrens Miracle Network. All the sororities compete to get the most points and raise money for CMN, and there is a party with us and a different sorority every night of the week. Here at North Florida we have make a sig smile, slave auction, lip sync contest, car wash, change drive on campus, scavenger hunt, field events etc. It is SO much fun, but ya some of the sororities do get a little too competitive and we see a cat fight every once in awhile but oh the fun!!!!! :-) Actually AlphaChigirl your sisters won...AXO.

on my campus, all the sororities compete in the various events of derby days, such as touch football, a banner contest, a penny-collecting contest for charity, etc. at the end, one house is chosen as the winner. the sigma chi's love it because it's a whole week of parties with just them and every sorority on campus.
