Name that movie.
 

A couple of years ago, I watched a movie about a young black girl going to an HBCU to pledge a sorority. Her grandmother, who had raised her, had also pledged that sorority (it was a fictitious sorority). The girl, wound up dying of water poisoning of all things. I wanted to recommend the movie to someone, but I can't remember the name of it. Please help.

Sounds like a Lifetime Television no budget thriller.

The water poisoning (if you're talking about water intoxication) you're referencing is often called "drowning." People consume large amounts of water in very short time spans. Many people did this as a childhood game or in sports or GLO hazing practices--most of them don't know it can have deadly consequences.

I saw that movie its called sisterhood. One of those low budget "big walt" movies. its okay, if you like that kinda stuff

LOL. I forgot all about Big Walt. Many of those movies are carried at some Blockbusters or can be purchased from certain websites.

I rented his movie about fraternities a few years ago before I was greek. Got it at Blockbuster. Talking about loosing hours of your life you'll never get back. :rolleyes: :(
