New Year's Resolutions
Did you accomplish yours for 2006? Any new ones planned for 2007?
From 2006 1. I secured a tenure track faculty job which was a HUGE goal of mine. 2. I became a member of the best sorority in the land - Sigma Gamma Rho (this actually took 6 years to accomplish but worth the wait) For 2007 1. Keep up with my car maintenance (inside and out) 2. Submit an article for publication and a paper to present at a conference 3. Lose 30lbs by my wedding day in May 4. Increase savings and contributions to retirement account. |
And I quote
"Don't start none, won't be none" I don't make resolutions. If I need something done, I'll just do it |

However, just for the record.... In 2007, I HAVE TO MOVE!!! By any means necessary!!!! (NP, where is the smiley with the gun??? :D ) The housing market has cooled down some but I watch it daily. I contemplated moving to Baltimore where I could get a whole house for the less than the price of half a house in the DC area. I CAN'T DO IT! (move to Baltimore that is cause I'm a DC girl) LOL!:) In 2007, if I don't want to do something, I won't do it. No pleasing anybody but myself and I don't care about anyone's little hurt feelings. I'm tired of being nice and saying yes all the dam time.:o In 2007, I will rise up in my school building. I am tired of watching my so-called administrators "run" the building. They don't know what they doing! I run this!!!! ;) Yes, In 2007, It's all about me......:) |
I don't call em resolutions...
But I definitely exceeded em all.
This year I want to focus on my health, making some home improvements and reaching back and helping more people in the ways that I've been helped. I havent seen the gun smiley, Bluereign...lol :) |
