Fraternity/Sorority discussion boards
Hi again! I wanted to know if any of you frequent other Greek-related message boards and discussion groups. If so, do you think you could give me (and the GreekChat community) their links? I'm already addicted to GreekChat, and I know I shouldn't get addicted to more, but it's so much fun!
Oh--and please don't include links to "spoiled" message boards! I don't really care for flames too much, that's why I try to stay away from one "ruined" message board. I'm not even going to say it's name because I think you guys already know what it is! Thanks a whole bunch! ------------------ *I'm an Alpha Gam...Yes I am, Yes I am!* |
Many Greek orgs have mailing lists in www.eGroups.com. You can do a search on the main page to find some for your org. Many lists are private and you have to subscribe because the listmaster verifies your membership in the org. Many are set up by referral as well. Good Luck!!

Greekchat is the best one on the internet!!!
I used to frequent greekcentral. But it was full of foul people who were always discussing foul things. Luckily one day Pnguintrax had a link to here in her response. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif I rarely went back after that. Now greekcentral is no more. No tears shedded over that. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif |

Come to think of it, FratBoard is no more either. Same problem *sigh*
Prayerfully, GreekChat will never get like that! Quote:

Something noteworthy:
This particular site (GreekSource.com) when it was in it's old format ('97-'98) was often a stomping ground for heated debates and "haters" to argue incessantly. And because there were no moderators per se or locks on certain thread discussions, debates could continue ad infiniteum, complete with rude obscenities and much profanity. There used to be a separate section for Black Greeks called the African-American forum and that place was like Jerry Springer for real. They closed that site in about mid '98 for what I assume to be the aforementioned reasons. Well, by about late '98-early '99 this site went offline and was completely overhauled to what you see today. I don't know if John Hammell was in charge of the old Greeksource.com or not, but I can say that I like this format MUCH better. Rain Man |
hey soror mccoyred
you remember the frat board. i remember many a day when i use to write emails to the moderator asking him to examine the board, because of the profanity. MaMaB ______________ imagine a subway filled with fallen angelz... |
