Rosie Vs. Trump

While I don't really care for "the Donald", I dislike Rosie much, much, MUCH more.

Who's going to come out on top in this war of words? Some of which were quite funny from Trump.

How do you take sides between these two? They're both strange.

Rosie could be feuding against a rock, and I would still side with the rock. I just cannot stand her.

"sit & spin my friend!"

bwahahahaha

does she think she's .. like oprah or something?

Was I watching a different show? Because I could've sworn that Rosie's talk show was pretty popular in its time. I know I used to watch it pretty often.

They're both annoying and I don't really care for either, but I'm with the lesbian on this one. It's one thing to make fun of one's hair, one's marital history and infidelity...it's another to come out and say he'll have "one of his men steal Kelli away from her."

Both are guilty of taking cheap shots at each other, but it really seemed like the Don was getting desperate with his. I mean, his were just really, really lame -- and he could take a few pointers from her.

First Rosie's bitching at Kelly Ripa for a completely harmless remark, and now she's on The Donald's case? I think she needs to chill, unless of course this is just a way to get ratings.

I think Rosie went a little far, but then I think Trump is just as much of an idiot for all the things he said back.

Grow up people.

Once upon a time, Rosie O'Donnell was funny. I went to a comedy club with friends the night we finished the bar exam, and she was the headliner -- an unknown at the time.

But somewhere along the line, she went from funny to bitter and uber-annoying.

Of course, the Donald is a walking, talking joke himself.

Rosie is the worst. While she was annoying when she had her show, at least she was halfway sane while she was in the closet. I need her to get back to sanity and shut the hell up, post haste.

I'm not taking sides DA. John Lydon, aka legendary punk Johnny Rotten recently called Trump "Donald Dump". That about says it all. And as for Rosie, she's strange alright. And that's putting it nicely.

I hate everyone mentioned in this thread. Trump, Oprah, Rosie...love Kelly Ripa though.

cutie_cat_4ever 12-23-2006 11:37 PM

Not to mention Rosie insulted a good chinese population with her attempt in speaking chinese...

Go Trump, I fell in love with you ever since you wore that Cream Yellow suit and dancing with chickens in SNL...(not chicks, lol)

I think what is a common theme here is how Rosie has changed. WHY is she so bitter?
She has a life partner, they are supposedly happy, she has a family, the kids are cute, she's reportedly worth 100 million or so, so why the anger and bitterness and where is it coming from? This woman doesn't seem to be able to see that it appears to be eating her up.

She used to be likable. So what gives? Any thoughts?

ohhhh, i'm so with you on this one.

i use to watch her show everyday... but now i hate watching the view because rosie's so damn mean-spirited!

it seems as if she is releasing all the anger and bitter emotions that was bottled up inside her before coming out...

i donno.

I think their publicists got together and made this up. So far, they both win. If there's a "trial of the century" for the third time this year, still, more free (or cheap) publicity. Many of y'all will be quite cooperative in buying into the whole thing.

Or maybe they're actually that petty... but I doubt it.
