pins on Ebay alert!!

Hey, go to fraternity and sorority jewelry and there is a 6 pin set of various houses: a SAE pin, ZTA badge, some guards for some houses, and an arrow but it seems to not be absolutely Pi Phi...looks and says "Alpha Phi Beta" but it is definitely an arrow of golden beauty...

Should anyone want or know what to do about this....was trying to find a gift for my Phi Delta son...cool tee from another chapter or whatever...so if any Phi Delts want to offer something for a Christmas gift, email me please as I am coming up with zilch.

But this set confused me, why would it all be together??

Probably from an estate sale (or several) and the seller isn't as big into selling pins as others so they just want them all sold. Just a guess. For the most part though, there's not much to do.

Or someone could buy the whole lot and then turn around and resell each badge individually and make more $$.

As was posted, many times when people come across GLO pins, they have no clue as to what they are.

It is something to sell and that is it only.

Do you have a link to it?

If so, please list it.:)

the link is very long and simply stated just go to Ebay--search for fraternity and sorority pins...then you will find they now have two groups to bid on:

1)this is the one I mentioned "Vintage 14ktGoldFraternity Sorority Pins SAE More" has one more day in the bidding; beautiful ZTA badge, SAE badge, others including the one that should be Pi Phi...but at close look it seems to say Alpha Beta Phi....at least that is what they call it; each of the badges has nice gems-emeralds, diamonds etc., and some supposedly have the owners initials on the back.

2)the other group is listed as: 9 Fraternity-sorority Pins 10k Collection Scrap Gold/two lavaliers:one is ADPi and the other is Alpha Sigma Pi; some chapter guards; a Phi Mu badge; a Gamma Nu badge; and a badge which resembles what I think is either a Lambda Chi badge or maybe something along those lines but very elegant regardless of the group.

good luck!!

Just last week there was a really old Gamma Phi Beta badge from Alpha chapter 1888 on ebay. Unfortunately it was selling for so much $$ that I don't think our Crescent Catchers group was able to buy it - it finally sold for close to $3,000.

The seller obviously didn't even know the sorority and its letters, since in every photo the badge is displayed UPSIDE DOWN!
