Partywalking/Stroll Songs

For those who are members of GLO that stroll/partywalk, what songs make you get up and the rip the floor?

TotallyWicked 12-11-2006 07:38 PM

I'll start off:

50 Cent-Disco Inferno
Ying Yang Twins featuring Pitbull-Shake
Baby Cham ft. Alicia Keys-Ghetto Story
Sean Paul-Breakout
Mystikal-Danger
Pitbull-Ay Chico
Snoop Dogg ft. Pharrell-Drop it like it's hot
Baltimore Club Music- OK
Tito "El Bambino" ft. Beenie Man-Flow natural
Beenie Man-King of the Dancehall

Songs I've seen sororities stroll to (guys probably don't stroll to these HA), that were good:

Christina Aguilera-Dirrty
Danity Kane-Show Stopper
Gwen Stefani-Hollaback Girl
Fergie-London Bridge
Fergie-Fergielicious
Pussycat Dolls-Buttons (Remix)

that's all for now, if I can think of anymore i'll post them, in the meantime everyone put their two cents in :)

I've seen folks stroll to a song called "Do a search cause there's already a thread about this somewhere on the board".

Catchy huh?

LOL I do agree, however, seldom do people actually listen to the lyrics when dancing (unless the lyrics are overtly or blatantly of a certain content [e.g. overly sexual]), most just listen to the beat, that's how ALOT of songs like "disco inferno" whose lyrics I couldn't care for but whose beat is catchy, BECOME hits.

100% agreed. Those songs are all extremely terrible, let alone stroll-worthy. I guess a good DJ was hard to find so someone just blasted a Top 40 radio station. Even the songs on that list that are okay to listen to in the car have been overplayed for years. I've heard better strolling music at a Montgomery Gentry show.

A couple of the songs are cool, i.e. Beenie Man and Snoop. I wouldn't want to see the day that my sorors are strolling to a song about loosen up my buttons. And "London Bridge" is just absolutely whack.
