Phi Kappa Sigma’s chapter at St. Lawrence University in New York State has been closed. An ABC affiliate has the story on its site. The article includes the text of a statement released by the president of the university:

St. Lawrence University has closed the Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity citing “deliberate deceit” by members being investigated for rushing and pledging violations.
In a statement by President Daniel Sullivan Friday, the fraternity was ordered immediately closed . . . .

SLU seems to be on a mission to completely erase Greek Life on their campus...it really is a shame. I have a friend up at SLU and she says that in the past 4 years they have closed down 3 Fraternities....they are down to one.
