The article indicates that many of those close to the investigation are not saying much, at least at the time the article was written.

A tradition of pissing off the University coupled with hazing issues and a general notoriety for being crazy would create something like this.

The title of this thread just makes me laugh.

I remember when I was a pledge and some of the actives, like my big bro would be like "yeah pledging is fun now....just wait until tha hazing starts and we bring out the goat."

Of course no hazing and no goats ever showed up, it was just a joke. I figured a lot of fraternities made jokes about "bringing out the goat". I didn't think any of them actually would. That's awful.
