My friends and I would like some advice and help.

Hello how are you all? I would like to introduce myself..I am a senior at Bloomsburg University in PA and Delta Sigma Theta has not been officially recognized on our campus since 1999. There are a group of us that have expressed our interest to the chapter advisor but have been given some what of a run around. I have spoken to older Deltas in my family but still nothing has been said or done. The reason I ask for help is because there is only one other BGL Sorority here on our campus. Many of us went to the Interest meetings that were held and even tried to contact nationals. We just wanted to know how we can possible get Delta back to our campus. We were told that we should pursue it in graduate school but some of the young ladies are freshman and sophmores that will be at this school for years to come. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this and if you know of anyone that could help up that would be great!

God Bless;)

Contact National Headquaters. You're not going to get much of an answer here.

Are you saying that there used to be a chapter there, but it's not there now? Or is it a city-wide chapter since you mentioned there is a chapter advisor? Based on what you have said it sounds as if the chapter was made a city-wide chapter because there were not enough qualified Black women to sustain the chapter just on the campus. So the odds of you getting another campus-based chapter are probably slim.

Which then leads me to another thought. Were you denied by the chapter and now want to start a new one? If so,that may be why you aren't getting a response.

Best wishes on your pursuit of DST, but none of us on GC are the appropriate avenues.
