Anyone see this movie? Funny as heck. Had a Bruh laffing from beggining to end. Bernie Mac was entirely to funny. I wonder why Spike cut out the spots that were in the trailers (previews) showing Steve Harvey kickin' it with the Rho chapter Bruhs?

I may have been misinformed, but many sources have told me that Spike is an eternal Lamp who fosters just a tad bit of resentment towards Omega Psi Phi. Perhaps that would explain why he deemed that clip irrelevent. As a communication & cinema major, I know that filmmakers use the trailor JUST to market the film-- not necessarily to tell people what it's about, contrary to what we, as viewers, may believe. He may have used that clip just to draw in the black collegiate audience. Of course, who needs to market Ced, Steve, Bernie and DL??!?!?!?! Their names alone are more than enough to draw me in!

I have heard the same rumor, but I can't confirm it either. Many of his friends are Bruhs though. Spike used our Frat as the model for G-Phi-G in his "School Daze" film. Replaced the Swords on our shield with dog bones. Notice that there are Kappas and Alphas in the film, but no Bruhs. BTW, that film was instrumental in the NPHC abolisishing pledging (the major one being the Sphinxman dying at Morehouse), an episode of a Different World, and a McDonalds commercial (seriously).
