UCF vs. Texas
 

So I hear that we are playing Central Florida, next season, on ESPN, for their home opener? I also heard they were opening up their brand new stadium for the game.....or something like that? Any UCF people want to verify this?

.........something tells me Mack Brown wanted to play golf in Florida.....so he figured they better schedule a game.

An on-campus stadium is currently under construction at UCF. It's supposed to be finished by the 2007 season opener. UCF is using the Citrus Bowl in downtown Orlando right now for all their games.

I am so excited about the stadium on-campus. It's long overdue! Are there any current UCF students on here that know how far along the stadium is right now?

you can already see the stands of the stadium and like the general structure of what its going to look like. Its a good size and is going to be ready by next fall. i wonder how many people it sits...
