Don't waste your money on any 'preparing for law school' crap. Just go, study hard, take the finals.

Good advice. There are so many companies out there that would LOVE to sucker you in. You do not need ANY sort of course before law school. Hell, you don't need any side courses in law school (LEEWS, i'm talking to you, you rip off waste of my time). The only thing you'll need is a bar prep course.

Law school will make your poor, so save what you can and watch your spending.

If you're not already, you will be addicted to coffee by the end of your first semester. And, if you smoke, your habit will double. All my friends in my little group have gone from only smoking socially to smoking all the time. It's so funny to hear them say, "I don't smoke during the day!" while taking that last drag off the cigarette before class.
