Founders Day

I was wondering if any chapters did any special ceremonies, events, dinners, etc. in honor of founders day. We don't really do anything so I'd love to hear about what any of you do!

We celebrate Eleusinia by having a huge dinner with the other Chi O chapterhere in Orlando and with our awesome alumni. It's later tonight...I can't go, since I have to do a presentation for school. I am so bummed. I was suppose to sing too!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif

My chapter celebrated Eleusinia on Monday night at meeting. We all met at a very quaint and lovely Italian restaraunt in town. We had a brief ceremony and Alumnae and Advisors were there. Dinner was absolutely delish and following dinner we had a report on our housing funds. We found out we might be getting a house within the next 10 years.
Then to wrap up the evening we had a Chi Omega Auction. People were asked to bring Chi Omega things to auction. It was sooooo much fun because the sister that mc'd it is hilarious and just turned it into a goof fest.
Overall, the best Eleusinian I've ever attended.

We had this beautiful banquet at a local Country Club, we had a very nice four course meal, and awards were handed out to some of our sisters who embodied what it really means to be a Chi Omega sister. Overall it was a lovely evening and a great way for all of the sisters to come together with the alumni http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Isn't the Spring Eleusinian held in the morning? We have ours early in the morning at sunrise.
