Real Life, Denver

Did anyone see the promo for this?

macallan25 11-02-2006 04:01 PM

Real World, Denver???

NinjaPoodle 11-02-2006 04:03 PM

yup. Denver. Like the cockroach that won't die. It was hosted by two kids from the Key West season.

I think I'll watch. I don't think the Real World has ever had on its show two african-american males?

epchick 11-02-2006 09:30 PM

I watched it....hell it should be a WHOLE lot more interesting then Real World: Austin, but its still the same ol drama.

macallan25 11-02-2006 11:18 PM

Those morons in Austin didn't take advantage of anything.......I mean, its Austin, I really can't think of very many places that offer the amount of things there are to do down here. All they did was go to the Dizzy Rooster every night, which is probobly the worst bar on 6th Street.......I would argue that its a shade under being a gay bar.

....of course, every time they tried to go to a respectable place they were either thrown out or almost beaten up.

Yeah i think they (MTV) had a deal with that bar to keep going there or something. I always wondered why they always seemed to hit the same dump each time.

There's likely nothing "real" about Real World (fill in the blank)

The place where they lived in Denver was a refurbished bar orginally called "B-52."

Our middle daughter used to work there.

Ooh, I've been there.

I heard about this when it was filming, but can't say I care -- I watched one episode of The Real World once and almost died of boredom, so I can't say I'm going to watch this. Plus their location leads me to believe they're going to do nothing but hang at the bars on Market Street, which is not interesting, at all.

Yeah, I doubt if they ventured out of LoDo.

whiteandblack 11-24-2006 09:29 PM

colie. real world rule #1. do not make-out or especially catch feelings for your roommate so soon! 9/10 you'll end up despising each other by the end of the season.

jenn. I think that she will unconsciously or consciously sabotage colie's relationships.

re the black republican: I hate blowhards. I think he will cause most of the friction in the house and I believe he's gay.

yeah well, they probably went to other places on their nights off. my dad is in a band and he said the real world cast came to one of his shows, but without cameras because they were off that night. which was during SXSW.. so shouldn't they have been filming or whatever for their job? yeah.. it's not so "real"
