Looks like another south FL "trial by media" attack on the opposition.

This area is becoming a southern branch of the Duke Lacrosse prosecutor's office.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Seeing as this happened MONTHS ago, and is just now coming to media attention (mostly because your namesake is being a nonresponsive douche about the whole thing), well, I'm going to have to go with "You're wrong, sport."

Yeah, just now coming to the media's attention...a week before the election...if this was Al Franken, it wouldnt be a story. But then again, thats because the American public would go, "who the hell is Al Franken?"

We'll be seeing a lot of this in the coming days. It's called recency of events. It's political strategy to keep ideas fresh in the minds of the voters. If it works or not is another issue.

Then again, it probably does work on certain people.

shinerbock 11-02-2006 03:16 PM

Oh I know. Sometimes I am baffled how somebody can flip-flop so much, especially between distinct candidates.

Or because Al Franken grew up in Minneapolis and understands where to vote.

Give it a rest. If it were Franken, it would still be a story.

I agree with you on the timing, though. I'm not listening to either side for the next week.

But, then again, I've already voted.

shinerbock 11-02-2006 11:41 PM

Haha, I'd love to see Al Franken challenge Ann Coulter's intelligence. This is laughable.

Al Franken graduated from Harvard, and Ann Coulter graduated from Cornell and U of Michigan Law. I think that they are an even match in terms of intelligence.

I really hate the days before an election. All the news stories and commercials are nasty as hell and make me cringe.

It doesn't take intelligence to be a giant attention-whore she-he. You just have to say the most outrageous things possible and pretend you believe them. Then you write books about it. Hell, I might try it, it's working for Cooter.
