Holloween Kandy
 

Hey greeks when you were a kid out trick or treating, what kandy did you hate getting in your bags, or when you got home what kandy would you see in your bag, that would make you say, how the hell did this get in here?:p

I couldn't stand those peanut butter things that were wrapped in the orange and black wrappers. Gross.

Oh man I love those peanut butter things in the orange and black wrappers. I think I might be one of like 5 people in the country who actually does, but I think they're tasty. Hard to eat though b/c they stick to your teeth.

The things I always hated getting:

-Licorice; I can't eat licorice of any kind b/c it never, ever fails to make me throw up. But of course, every Halloween I'd return home with a bunch of Twizzlers and would have to get rid of them. :(

-Necco Wafers

-Smarties (ewww!)

-Tootsie rolls or Tootsie pops...though I did love (and still really do!) love the fruit flavored Tootsie Rolls, I found a package of them at some grocery store over the summer and almost died I was so excited since I've never seen them ever except for Halloween time.

-Those stupid Bottle Cap candies, they fizzed in your mouth, but really they were just like little fruit-flavored alka-seltzers....nasssssty.

Really all I liked getting on Halloween was CHOCOLATE, mmm yummy, and Skittles. Frozen Skittles are the best things ever.

I don't know what Holloween Kandy is, but I like Halloween Candy. Especially Reese's PB Cups.

Somebody actually hates Peanut Butter Cups? That's a first for me!

My family always teases me about how my elder brother told me that I hated Crunch bars, and being so young, I believed him, and gave them all to him. He has a bit of a mean streak...

I hated popcorn balls, or worse, apples!

Smarties make good poker chips, when you don't have any...

I can't say I disliked any candy. I preferred some more than others, but I loved it all. :D

I don't think he was talking about Reese's...he was talking about those things that come in the wax paper that are either black or orange and look like carmel, but are actually peanut butter.

No need to worry anymore, as no one gives these out. You can thank all the loons that (allegedly) poisoned them for that.

Oh, okay. I like them, too. Like xo_kathy, there's very little candy that I dislike!

My mother always has them around in October. Not to give away, but to hoard - she LOVES them!

Several families in my neighborhood when I was little gave out cans of soda. That was kind of disappointing and heavy to carry around in your little bag.

I'm not a big fan of chocolate (though I've been known to eat snickers). I guess I actually like tootsie rolls! Just not the tootsie pop (they take forever and I just want to eat them!!)
You know what I used to hate getting as a kid? Tooth Brushes!!! :confused: YUCK!! Many of my neighbors were dentists and I hated getting them because what kid likes to brush their teeth or even think of cavities whilst getting candy?

I kinda have a pet peeve against parents that drive their kids from door to door! As if kids aren't fat enough, let's drive them to stuff their faces with candy. If you need to drive to a candy neighborhood, park your car and walk with your kid!! It's one of the best memories I have with my parents is going trick or treating when I was little with them.

this is the first halloween since i found out i'm allergic to chocolate, so, I guess my favorite is blow pops or smarties or uh....juji fruit

This is kind of off topic, but if you mix candy corn and peanuts together, they taste like a Payday candy bar! Wonder if you added some Kisses (or maybe milk chocolate chips since they are smaller) if it would taste like a Baby Ruth?!?

When I was little I hated Tootsie Rolls, but they aren't bad now that I am older. What I didn't like then and still don't like now is candy corn...can't stand the stuff!!

I love Smarties. All you Smarties haters, I'll gladly take 'em off your hands. ;)

I also love chocolate... but I can't stand nuts (I'm not allergic, I just don't like them). So, plain M&Ms but no peanut M&Ms; Mounds but not Almond Joy. I do like Reese's peanut butter cups, though.

Can't stand Tootsie Rolls, either.
