NCAA Football Brawl--Univ. of Miami vs. Florida International

I don't know if the link to the video will work but this fight is bananas! If it doesn't load, you can see it on Yahoo!

Also, the commentator, Lamar Thomas, was fired for his comments. Some of his colorful highlights:

"Now, that's what I'm talking about... You can't come over to our place talking noise like that. You'll get your butt beat. I was about to go down the elevator to get in that thing."

The punishment...

The players who were stomping on people and swinging helmets should be suspended for the season. Its a disgrace to the sport.

Russ Parr was talking about it Monday morning... why did they fire Lamar for saying what he did? they could have edited his comments

Because he acted like a thug on air, he has no place in the booth.

Yeah, but that would be like keeping someone on the air who made racially offensive or sexually lude comments. You can edit them, but...ultimately you want people who don't require editing.

I think it was just a bad weekend for Florida...
An out of state friend sent me this from USA Today
Down to the state of Florida. Gators upended  . Miami and Florida International disgrace themselves. Miami and Florida State are unranked for the first time in 24 years... Good thing this is a basketball state.
