It's Canadian Thanksgiving!

Canucks,

What are you thankful for? Did you do your turkey dinner yesterday or are you having it today?

Did Canada have Pilgrims that shared their first ever Thanksgiving meal with wild Indians at a huge wooden table with an enormous turkey as the center piece too???

I've had my turkey dinners for the weekend: one on Saturday and one last night. Tonight I will be enjoying leftovers!

I had never heard of this "Canada" so I looked it up.

Today was an especially good Canadian Thanksgiving. :)

Since we are now in the US, we didn't have Thanksgiving. Mr. 1228 had to work.

However, my mother in law is visiting from Canada. She had a turkey sandwich on sourdough in downtown San Fran today

My family had it on Saturday, because our lives were too busy on Sunday, and we like to keep Mondays free just to hanging out and family time. It worked out awesome actually.
I ran a 10K (56 minutes...woo hoo!), then worked out with my trainer, etc.
As for me, I am thankful for Mr CP2K, my terrific family, the freedoms and priviledges that I enjoy living in Canada and in one of the world's most beautiful cities, my health, my job and my car that is reliable and runs!
