Nas and Kelis to have a Reality Show?

Well lookyhere. Nas and Kelis may be living out their "Blindfold Me" video for us all to see. Word is they're getting their own reality show which they have already started taping. It's been talked about for a while, but folks were trying ot keep it on the low. Page Six reported that they spotted them out in the NY restaurant Baddukan "over Peking duck and lobster egg rolls" with cameras rolling on them. While I will be the first one to be hella excited about this, I'm a lil worried for them too. Couples who do reality shows don't have the best track record. Nas may be doing this to stir publicity about his pushed back album (now dropping in December) Hip-Hop Is Dead. This is something we would never see B and Jay do. But who cares, I will be watching....


So in case it comes true, lol, here is where we can dissect it each week.:cool:

nas is rather ho-hum, but whatever....

umm...do the the couples Nick and Jessica, Carmen and Dave, Shannon and the guy from Blink-182 mean anything to them? b/c, well, they've all had short marriages and seperated/divorced after their reality shows aired.
i think they better take a page from their books and really think so they don't end up like them;)

Nas is a righteous brother, Kelis a cosmic sista.
Instead of thinking of the worst for our brothers and sisters, why don't black folks give praise and pray for the better.
Thing's happen when people "Pray In Masses,"
Maybe it is not the couples fault.
Maybe it is the fact that we don't pray for them and that leaves a hole for the devil to do his work.
I pray for Nas and Kelis and hope they stay married for a long time.
I pray for all our black kings and queens to overcome.

Now THAT ^^^ would be a good show!

I'll be tuning in to see Nas and Kelis if the show really happens.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw the title. Nas and Kellis better watch out because divorce is a usual end to the reality tv shows!!!

I hope they dont come out with a show. I like both artists separately, and so I dont wanna have to take em off my list. yay for Nas coming out with a new album.

OK, I am over him.... a little bit. I won't be rallying for the break-up of their marriage. It does my heart good to be a happy Black couple that loves one another.

However, if they just so happen to split, I won't be mad.... ;) :D

LOL. For some reason, though, I don't see Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones and the former Kelis Rodgers, both very distinctive artists, doing reality TV. Maybe it's just me.

I think the fact that they waited for the newlywed bug to wear off first may help, I hope.... You're first year of marriage is something special and takes a while to get used to. It's enough stress without the cameras, but I guess someone has to pay for the wedding.

I think that his wife's (or ex-wife) name is Shayna rather than Shannon.
