They've lost that loving feeling...

I know what you are going through. How long has your sorority been around? Is this a new problem, or have your sisters been hard to motivate for a while? Do you have any policies for consequences for unpaid dues?

It is sad when some feel thay are above the rest.
We helped start a Local Sorority at My Alma Mater who had a chance to affiliate with a National Sorority. They felt to big at the time and now, they are no longer there! If they do not see the writing on the well, then guess waht? They feel comfortable at the moment, but down the road they will wonder what the heck happened. If you cannot impress them with this fact, well bail out as bad as it may seem for me to say this. It actually goes to the 90-10% rule, 10 % do the work and 90 % dont do anything.:o |
Also try to impress upon them the importance of getting these new ladies in. The more members you have, the better things will get b/c there are more people to share the load. Right now they may just feel overwhelmed with so much work and so few people that they don't see the big picture. Good luck to you!
