Convention Logo I really like it....

I will try my best to make it, this will be my first convention ... I'm kinda excited.

I'll be there with at least 3 others from my chapter. We are all excited.

I am soo there! I do have one question though. This is my first convention so forgive me if it sounds stupid. At an alumnea chapter meeting yesterday we were discussing whites for convention and everyone seemed to have a different idea of what was "okay" and not okay to wear. Since we are all from different undergrad chapters we all tended to think what we wore was correct. If anyone has been before and has info please share!

The issues we discussed were...
Are open toed shoes okay?
Can shoes have brown heels or must they be all white?
Is hosery required?
Can you have sleeveless tops and dresses?

Then a personal questions on my side... I have a white knee length dress with short puffed sleeves from the Gap. The only problem is it has three brown buttons on the front top. (they are small buttons, but needed to hold the top together.) Is this okay or do I need to replace the buttons with white ones?

I'm going to send you a Private Message with the answers to your questions (since this is considered ritual discussion).

I just found out that the Chief of Staff for one of the groups I support here at work is a TriSigma (I knew she was Greek but not which one) and she's going to your convention in Nashville as a delegate of her alumnae group.

She seems quite excited too.

That's awesome!

Unfortunately, I will not be at Convention. I am in the running for a grad assistantship and I need to be available around that time for interviews.

I'm STILL pretty excited because I FINALLY filled out my alumna volunteer application. I'm hoping to be able to fill in an open spot on the Triangle staff!

Convention anyone?

I want to go but I'm looking for someone to share a room with me at a different hotel because the one hosting Convention is booked. Anyone want to share a room? This will be my first convention too. I'm looking forward to it but nervous since I've never been before. I'm an alumn from Missouri. Let me know if your interested in this last minute planning.
