Dr. Phil's Diet Pills
This story on Yahoo! is about the suit filed against Dr. Phil marketing diet pills that don't work:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060926/..._dr__phil_diet The story is interesting - I didn't even know he had a diet pill on the market - but what I'm really blown away by is the fact that the plan calls for people to take 22 pills daily, totalling $120/month. Really? 22 pills a DAY? According to the article, he claims that the pills contain ingredients designed to aid in weight loss. I'm thinking that maybe Dr. Phil thought that if people were taking 22 pills a day they wouldn't have time to eat, and that's how his "plan" was designed to work. Has anyone here heard of this diet? (According to the story, if you can prove you bought the pills prior to July 1, you may be included in the suit.) |
Dr. Phil should not be GIVING diet advice.

Class Action Law Suit
I just read that the winners of the class action lawsuit got a big $12.50 back for their money. That's less than a tenth of what they paid for one month. What a crock. I just saw a funny t shirt about it, too. It's here: T Shirt Party http://www.tshirt-party.com
Pretty funny. |
So not a fan of Dr. Phil. My friend's husband (jokingly) says that Oprah is the whore of Babylon and Dr. Phil is the antichrist. I don't know about that, but the man definitely annoys the fire out of me.
