If I Had A Million Dollars...
 

I'm sitting here listening to the Bare Naked Ladies song "If I had a million dollars" and thinking to myself that there's a lot I could do with a million dollars...BUT WHAT?!?!

So, if you had a million dollars what would you do?

First thing that popped into my mind was: buy a house for my chapter!! We're new so we don't have a house. We're waiting for land on campus and a house would definetly be a plus, since the other chapters have one!

Quit my job and throw a huge huge party for all my sisters and friends!

Well I suppose it's my turn to post. Now that I've thought about it I think the first thing I'd do is pay off ALL my bills, credit cards and whatnot.
Then I'd buy myself and my dad a new car. I'd give my parents money too, to help pay back for my education and go towards one of my siblings education. Then I'd send my parents on a Honeymoon because they never really had one, and with four kids they've only traveled with us.
Finally, with what money is left over I'd invest and save it!

Get a new car, but nothing extravagent... maybe a Mazda MX-6. The rest would go into bonds, where I could then use the interest as spending money. You know, a million dollors isn't a lot of money these days. Although it is to me....

Gawsh...$1,000,000. Guess I would pay off some bills and get a few new outfits. But that would leave lots left over. I would invest some cuz some day I want to open my own business (plus the stock market is waaaay down right now). Also, I would help a few friends through some rough spots.

As far as me, I would like to do some traveling this summer--maybe a few months in Europe--definitely!

That's a nice idea! Traveling! I never thought about that! I'd definately like to go to a few places before I die!
