What attendance policies do you follow in your chapter? Do you simply use the guidelines in the sorority constitution or have you added specific rules to your by-laws?

I don't know what the Beta constitution reads, but attendance is required unless excused for illness or previous reason. For us, this includes cultural outings.

I currently am MAL so I only wish I had a chapter to attend. :*(

My land chapter of Beta Psi I think all of our meetings are required to attend unless excused. Everyone has families and different schedules so we cant really require our members to attend our social gatherings. They tend to be come if you can type of things. I'm not sure if unexcused absences are fined, but we do fine 50 cents each time we do not wear our pins to our meetings.


My online chapter, attendance is required unless excused (right Erica?) though since it's online, I've never really known of anyone to not log in for a meeting (but I've only been a member for a short time too).
