I just bought a new Ipod today (I'm starting a collection it seems). But how sweet is the 80g and the 2nd generation nanos, I seriously considered buying both but since I already have a nano, I wanted the real ipod. I heard that microsoft is lowering the price of it's Zune because of the new pricing of the ipods.

The new nanos include an 8 GB...but it's black, no fancy colors, only with the 4GB.

I want a 30 GB so bad, but I can't afford it....I'm sticking with my 6GB mini

Check the apple site, you can get refurbished ones pretty reasonably.

Sadly i still can't afford it...I can't afford much of anything these days, and can't work until after my surgeries, so it stinks

Ack I know the feeling, my bank account was hacked into this wekeend and amongst the funds stolen were the ones for my new ipod. So my dying not so slowly 40Gb will have to suffice until I get my money back.

The 8 GB and 30 GB are the same price...with that the case, why buy an 8 GB one?

No idea. Bank said its becoming common for restaurants, delivery people--anyone who takes card away from you to run it or does and imprint of it then have the ability to make a fake card on your account and somehow find a way to use it to take money out. Also, non-bank ATMs are a big risk--like at 7/11, etc.

Ugh, that really suxs, I'm sorry hun :(

That's the #1 reason why i won't use non-bank ATMs...I hate ATMs all together, but if I need one, it's a bank one and that's it.

It's so hard to know who to trust and who not to trust these days/

I have a 30GB fifth generation iPod and love it! Leave it to Apple to come out with something new once I buy something else from them.

80GB with extended playing time sounds really sweet, but considering I just bought my iPod (and a MacBook I'm typing on), I'm not in the market for anything else just yet.

I'm pissed off that I waited so long for my iPod, got it last christmas and then these babies came out.
I'm dying for a macbook. I'm a diehard mac fan. Thanks boyfriend!

I have the nano...I just got the Nike + iPod and it is great!!!!! I love how well it tracks my runs.....now I am going to get the 80 and powerbook before I deploy.....still have my mini but I never use it.

If any of you have a Tweeter near you and want a new iPod, you can trade in your old one and get a certain amount of money towards new one.
