I teach English at a high school whose mascot is the pirate, and its Homecoming week, so I have an entire lesson planned around "pirate speak." Arrrgh!

I have always dones lessons on this with my kiddos in the past, but this year it falls during state testing.. so can't do anything.... but I will be wearing my skull and bones scarf!

I tried to send you this in a PM, but maybe it was full. Anyways, not to be super nosy or anything, but I was just wondering if you by any chance teach high school at Palm Bay High in Melbourne, FL? Because that's where I went and our mascot is the pirate. I just figured since you went to UCF, there might be a slight chance, and it would be a funny coincidence.

Did anyone watch Wife Swap last night? The founder of Talk Like a Pirate Day was the dad from one of the families. What a bunch of weirdos.
