I just want to exist!

Hi, My name is Anthony Diaz and I attend Rutgers Newark in New Jersey. I along with several other guys wanted to start a Greek local BBK aka Beta Beta Kappa. Now we all knew it was going to be hard but we didn’t know there was going to be such bullshit from admin on campus. We pretty much have all the paperwork done but the only problem now is national affiliation with a Greek council.
The only way to be recognized is to have that national affiliation. Now my question is does anyone have any suggestions or councils I could apply to on a probationary period or something.

Hi there..... what are the objectives or mission of your fraternity? Is there a website?

I'll cut him a break. He's new and non-trollish! :)

Basically RU wants you to have national affiliation and insurance because of Risk Managment. It is very frustrating...but there are good reasons.

You may want to do your research on national fraternities that may have similar goals and values.

Oh my! I have to admit that I'm a bit taken aback with your fraternity vision. "Democracy is Dead! Our Leaders are corrupt!..." Then it goes on to talk about "training to empower." It almost sounds like you're an anti-government para-military, revolutionary, vigilante group.

I'd be interested to hear what your group is really about.

I am not realy sure what your post is about and what it has to do with this posters post?

If he/she asks a question, then I hope some will give help and not sarcasism?

While each has their own point of view, that is all it is.

Tom, this is not sarcasm. These are direct quotes from his new fraternity's web pages!!! If this is indeed some kind of anti-government vigilante group, I doubt any college will sanction it.

I am asking the poster for clarification on what this group is all about. It seems more politically motivated than a social fraternity would be.

Jersey is fun but it rains too much there.
