The student told the band director that he planned to pledge for a fraternity next year, Cpl. Oldham said, and Mr. Bonds allegedly offered to "teach him what he needs to know about pledging."

Though it isn't stated in the article, the band director was initiated into Kappa Alpha Psi in Fall 2005 through the Northpoint Alumni Chapter in Mississippi.

my heart goes out to the band and students at DSU who will have to worth through the aftermath of these allegations.

Maaaaaaaaaaan, this story is SKETCHY as he!!. Things really don't add up. Who "goes in and out of consciousness" off of Hypnotic? How do you walk into another man's room and allow sh!t like that to take place? How do you wake up butt naked and NOT confront him? If he was really that gone off of some damn HYPNOTIC, then why does he recall EVERYTHING. Come on now. There's alot more to this story. If anything DID happen, my assumption is that it was consensual.

If it was consensual, why would the victim call the police?

While I agree with part of your statement, I do know of a simular situation here which ended up in a murder.

Victim did go to a hotel room with killer thinking that they were going to have a talk.

It's called being slipped a mickey, roofie, etc. In other words, I think the victim was drugged. And with those drugs, you can go in and out of consciousness. He would be able to remember that.

I read this story last night. Prayers go out to everyone involved.

AP story: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060912/...rector_accused

ETA: Senusret: How did you find out he is a Kappa?

Because he felt ashamed. He might be one of those "I had sex with a guy but I'm not gay" types.

On the other hand, he might have been slipped a mickey and it could have been rape. I'm not going to make assumptions and accusations either way, just like I wouldn't if a woman had been the one pressing charges.

Soul D-Psi-ple 09-13-2006 01:20 AM

True, he could have been slipped some kind of date rape drug, but things still don't add up to me. I've got some frat up at DSU. I'll ask one them about the suspect.

Still BLUTANG 09-13-2006 09:28 AM

Bruh, dude is a "victim" or an "accuser"...

Elephant Walk 09-13-2006 09:45 AM

most likely a hate crime.

Soul D-Psi-ple 09-13-2006 02:40 PM

Oh, I was referring to the Bonds when I said suspect.

Still BLUTANG 09-13-2006 04:10 PM

Oh, o.k. i misunderstood. :)
