Rushing (I think)
 

Hey all,

So I feel like a pnm at this point. I'm about to go to a city council meeting where all the local chapters are represented. I'm already a member of the national organization, but have never had any interaction with any physical BSP land chapter. I'm pretty social so hopefully those skills and my sorority experience in ASA will kick in and help me out. AGH! I'm nervous! Wish me luck!, send positive energy to me, pray for me etc. hahahaha I've not rushed any organization in like 5 years so.....

Good luck with rushing! You'll do fine. BSP is a great organization, so there isn't really any need to get nervous. ASA rush was probably tougher.

I went ASA during COB so I just talked to the girls and they gave me a bid. I didn't have to try too hard. That and we were a local back then so they were desperate for girls. The meeting went great and I found a chapter that I really liked theres a meeting monday and there is a meeting Monday night so that will be #2 of 6 of the events I have to attend before they ask me into their chapter!!! So I guess I now have a recruitment story. I never thought I would. Anyway we went out for margaritas and 5 a.m. comes early. good night all!

My rush experience is going great! They love me (I think) I love them. I went to their meeting last night and it was great! The president said she was going to put me on the invite list for future socials! I dunno but that sounds like a pretty good sign to me! YAY!!!!! 4 more events to go before I can submit my letter!!!!
