Dan Rather: divorce finalized tonite
 

"Dan Rather: A Reporter Remembers" on CBS tonite is the television equivalent of slowly, painfully pulling off a Band-Aid. CBS has moved on. Rather has moved on (to obscurity or worse). But instead of ripping that Band-Aid off quickly, suffering briefly and then recovering, they're just making it worse for everyone. Including viewers.
* * * Although few viewers are likely to care at this point, or even watch the show (carefully scheduled on the Friday night of a holiday weekend).
* * * It's kind of like an ex-husband hosting a tribute to his ex-wife after they went through a nasty divorce.
And probably few of us will attend.
Let me know if they photoshop Dan to remove 20 lbs.
