Anyone catch FOX's newest installment of competitive reality?

After watching the previews I started getting flashbacks of VH1's "But Can They Sing?" (oh, horrible Bai Ling and Antonio Sabato, Jr. images go away!), but after the first few performances I realized that it was more American Idol for celebrities and has beens.

I was surprised to see that the majority of them can hold a note. Jai Rodriguez was by far my favorite...but I already knew that he could sing.

Carlton needs to do Tom Jones this season. He just has to.

I wonder what the producers were thinking when the cast Marie Osmond, Little Richard, and David Foster as judges?

Carly got lucky. She should have been gone. Pitch, honey....especially on the key note of the song. I could have listened to Jericho 10 times longer then Carly. Good luck, Papa Joe, turning THAT into a star.

I didn't watch it, but the Caroline in the City chic is supposed to be on it.

She was the lead in Cabaret when I saw it on Broadway a few years ago. I was so excited to see it becuase it's my favorite show but was a little bummed b/c I thought there was no way she could belt out the title song. Boy was I wrong - she gave me chills. So I think she'll probably do pretty good.

And Jai was on Broadway, too, so I think the some of the celebrities shouldn't really be considered "non-singers"!

eJai and Alfonso are my favorites. I was really suprised that Cheech Martin could sing! Carly should have been kicked.

Little Richard is like Paula on speed. Woooooooooo!

I love Jai and Hal. Lucy was GORGEOUS in that white dress though! Totally stunning!!
