COR Strategies

Hi!

I'm an active at Theta Eta (University of Western Ontario) and FR plans are all in place and going under way, so I'm starting to look into COR.

Our chapter is small (12 actives before FR), and numbers have been dwindling in recent years due to decreased interest in the Greek System, large graduating classes and poor planning. I was just wondering if any other chapters have been in our situation and managed to turn things around, and how.

Because our chapter is small, it's difficult to compete with other sororities in FR, so I'm thinking that maybe we should put more energy and effort into COR. Anyone care to share effective COR strategies they've used or still use today?

Thanks, and good luck to everyone for recruitment in the fall!

This sounds like exactly the position Beta Theta (UBC) was in a few years ago. You might want to go to the A Phi Eyes Only section of the Int'l website to try to contact the current President, or visit their chapter website to contact their VPMR.

I forgot to respond to this! I just sent you a PM. I just helped Bentley more than double their size after 3 years of hard work, so it can be done! I was also corresponding with another group over the summer in a similar situation, I am happy to give you specifics about what we did! :)
