Hmmm, well they're not listed at our IHQ chapter directory site, so I dont think they're official yet, either that or the site is behind. I'll do some digging though, and post back here. Good luck to all those tekes to bw down there, wish them our best.

The major factor for any fraternity to return is if they have had previous chapters at the school which I am not sure if UofC has, and it will be a chapter they won't have a charter, we haven't even gotten ours yet and we have been back for two years, they will have to prove themselves. As for IFC it is a bitch we are getting back in next year after paying over 13 grand in back fees owed from the previous charter. Hopefully everything goes well for them, if they need backing tell them to let us know, I can go direct I live 20 min from our nationals.

TKE's at CofC?
 

Hey guys! I'm a ZTA at the College of Charleston. This past school year some guys got together and are now working on getting TKE chartered on our campus. Right now I know it's kinda slow-going for them, and there is some question as to whether IFC will recognize them. (All the fraternities are really in debt right now, so I think the college is wary about letting another come on campus.) Anyhow, do any of y'all know anything about this or the progress that is being made on starting a colony of TKE at CofC?
