Question for the PNMs who keep rush notes?

Having read all these posts over the years, I was wondering something... do you reread your notes before making your selections the next day? Do your notes influence your final outcome?

I would hope that your notes are used... but before I suggest this to others I wanted to know if they are helpful? With all that a PNM has to do during the week, I was just wondering if your notes were helpful or just time consuming.

Thanks.

HAHA!! That's where mine are!! :)

I'm not sure if i referred back to them each day. I do remember using them while ranking chapters to help me figure out who I liked more etc. All of my pages in my "Sorority Sorts" are full of notes I took after/between parties.

I cringe when I think of the descriptions I gave to different women, along with their names, so I'd remember them! We had to turn in our scrapbooks for judging just prior to initiation, and I got an award for "Funniest to Read"! We did get them back to keep, though - or I'd have to steal mine to get those pages back!

Thats cool that you had to do one with competition as incentive. We did not. I did one by choice because I wanted to "savor" if you will as many memories of my pledge semester as I possibly could. I SAVE EVERYTHING. :) I need to start another one for the rest of my active period and start one for my alumna period but havent had the time to sit down and come up with ideas I want to do.

It's so funny because one of my sisters was just showing me her recruitment notes from 2002! We have DG and DZ here and I remember seeing written in her notes "The D-one with the turtles" and the " D-one with the pink and blue".:)

My recruitment counselor gave me a notepad to record my observations, who I'd talked to, etc., and after each party I'd write some notes about my experience. I don't think I ever read through them, but getting it out on paper helped me remember names, etc. In the end, I just went with my heart on pref night!

i do have my old pledge manual, which is a hoot in itself. these days the new members have that info. on dvd!! i wonder if they will cherish their dvd as i do my manual?

Sure they will... until some new technology comes along and they can't access their DVDs anymore! ;)
