Interesting lists:

#10 Their Students (Almost) Never Study
#4 Lots of Beer #7 Lots of Hard Liquor #6 Party Schools Ohio University-Athens Appears on These Lists. I'm so proud of my Alma Mater. Last year we were number 2 on the Party Schools list. Is that good or bad? Of course, as I point out every year, there's very little scientific about this survey. It's a joke. Now, being number 7 (I think) on the Playboy Party School list... |

The Princeton Review is cute for causing discussion in/between the named schools, and probably not much else. |
WIU
Best in Midwest Best Value College |
University of Florida:
Rank List Category #6 Teaching Assistants Teach Too Many Upper-Level Courses - guidance counselor in HS did not want me to go to UF strictly because of this. I did not have any issues with this matter. #17 Their Students (Almost) Never Study - I disagree. Tough school. #17 Everyone Plays Intramural Sports- even I did. I was in the basketball team of Newman Club in my freshman year. #3 Students Pack the Stadiums- true #9 Lots of Beer- but you don't have to drink it. #16 Lots of Hard Liquor- ditto #11 Party Schools- but you don't have to go. #7 Dorms Like Dungeons- I lived at home so N/A. #1 Jock Schools- ??? University of South Florida #18 Diverse Student Population- though I do wish we could have gotten more Spanish speaking and/or children's librarians. Also in the list of "Best Southeastern Colleges" and "America's Best Value College". |
