Alumnae & Badges
 

I've got a few questions for our DG alum's on here...

How often do you wear your badge?
What type of events do you wear it to (i.e. Alumnae meetings, formal occasions, etc.)?
Do you wish you had more opportunities to wear it?
Does anyone wear it to work on a daily/weekly basis?

I am just curious! Any reponses would be appreciated!

I've worn it twice in the past year- Bid Day '05 and '06.

I just never have a reason to wear it otherwise :(

I wear mine to meetings, but I am usually one of two who do. I see them at Founders Day, but otherwise most alumnae I know do not wear them at all.

I wear mine as much as possible, not just to alum meetings and DG stuff. If I am wearing a blazer were you can put a lapel pin, I put on my plain badge. I also bought one of those circle things that you can put your pin in and wear with a necklace - with my crown pearl badge in it, I always get compliments, and not just from sorority members who recognize it.
Now that I am going through menopause:mad: though, I don't wear jackets as much and haven't worn my badge as much as I used to.:(
But for Founders Day, I put on ALL the regalia: the crown pearl badge, with the crown pearl chapter guard, with ALL my dangles!
Our badge is just so beautiful, I love wearing it!
