Working at International?
 

Hey everyone...

I was just being a dork and thinking (in my unemployed state) who works at Intl.? How does one work at Intl.? I know a lot of things are family run... but what about the others? Are they just people from KC, Mo? Are they all sisters? Do they post ads in the paper when they need employees? What they need is young go-getters like us to spice things up in the office! WOO!

Who wants to move to KC? hahah!

Hey, Alison. Getting desperate, huh? If you do the "virtual tour" on the Beta Sigma Phi site, you can see all of the employees. Some are guys, so I know it isn't a members only kind of thing.

The men are probably Envoy members.

Apparently, there are approximately 49 employees at International.

As sent to my online chapter by email from Laura Ross Wingfield:

"You may have had trouble getting through to us in the last day, we
apologize for that but we were closed due to having no water. We will
be closed at least a half day Aug. 23 to try to fix the problem. The
office next to us illegally changed our attachment to the city water and
we are trying to get it fixed and to get them to take care of the costs
to us. If you call and you do not get an answer that is probably what
is happening. We don't have voice mail because we don't want you to
have to pay to talk to a machine and not get an answer. We apologize
for the inconvenience and hope to have it remedied soon. We pray that
this will be fixed quickly and we will be back in the office at work but
we cannot keep the office open with 49 employees and no water. We are
taking legal action as well."


49 employees seems huge to the 25 employees that work at Theta's HQ :) But we have quite a bit of our members volunteering to do things so they arent earning salaries for it.
