Sisterhood Day
 

Hey..
This year at our school we have decided to defrill our recrutiment and take out skit day and I was wondering if any other schools or chapters had done the same thing.. Instead of skit day this year we are replacing it with sisterhood day and we are having trouble coming up with ideas on what to do .. we know alot of the other sororities are planning on having some kind of interactions with the rushees but we are not sure what kind of activity we should do... our theme for the day is shoes and kinda going along with the whole step into an alpha chis shoes for the day... if anyone has any ideas it would be really helpful!!

I'm a big fan of this one, and you could use cute shoes as the containers.

Write up some great conversation starters/quirky questions and put them in containers that are accessible (depends on how you do recruitment) Have each sister pull one out and ask a question to their PNM or small group. You can tie them closely to your chapter, or make them general. Silly and fun questiosn are the best.

We recently did this at my college. On our sisterhood night, we have one of our New-I's that went through formal recruitment last year give a speech talking about how Alpha Chi changed her. We also have a slide show of sisterhood pictures with a song going in the background. Tables are also set out with some of our most cherished items from our house. It was pretty effective last year.
