Relationship bumps in the road...

...

Remember whats important and why you are together. When the going gets tough, its important to support each other and not make each other's lives harder.

I just spent Saturday night with my boyfriend's best friend and his girlfriend. They have been dating for 3 yrs now and I've never seen a more dysfunctional relationship. It became pretty clear while I was talking to the girlfriend that she feels stuck so I guess its important to be able to acknowledge those feelings and either talk it out or find solutions to the problem(s)...no one is worth you being miserable (generic you not you specifically Otter).

I can be like that too, and it takes a lot of work to control it. Mostly, I'm just trying to mature and gorw as a person by learning to control my feelings, not take out my anger/frustrations on my mate, and overall do a better job of dealing with stress. I say take it one day at a time. :)

My fiance has an extreme amount of patience. I tend to be short or snippy when I'm stressed out. I always ask him why he's still with me or how he handles it. He just says that he knows I'm not always like that and I have other qualities that keep him around.

We've had our blow outs and fights and whatnot. But we always end up coming back and talking about it later. It's normal to have fights once in a while.

HEY NOW. You betta recognize -- we don't take shit, 'k? If that makes us bitches, so be it, FOO'. LOLZ

Otter, if you don't work out, start. Seriously. An ass-kicking work out goes a long way to mellow out any bitchy. It also prevents law body.

How we've done it for the past almost-five years.....

1. Sex

..and when we can't do number 1...

2. play wrestle
3. snuggle and talk, even if you aren't in the mood, it helps
4. bake something semi-complicated (it works great when you're having trouble communicating)
