Hey do any Pikes even look at this page? Just curious. I am trying to find out what other chapters do for fundraisers and socials. Anyone have any ideas or comments?

Yeah my chapter has a huge toga party to kick off the begining of the new school year. We try to get a couple of he radio stations to come to so that we can get some publicity.

Hey why is this thread so dead? Where's all the pikes at? We should get a conversation going on here. Just out of curiousity I was wondering hows everyone's pike chapter like? Let me tell you a little about my chapter. I go to Slippery Rock University Kappa Sigma chapter. We got our chater in '97. Our chapter has won greek week '97-00 and we have a real good chance of winning this year. We currently have 9 pledges and are doing very well. Our fraternity has the best grades and usually win IM games all the time.

What's Up Brothers? Us Thata Psi Boys are lucky...we kind of run our campus. Y'all should make flyers and pass them out to only the hot and I repeat hot girls. Have them show the invite if the person at the door thinks they are "BEAT" If they are hot, then by all means let them in...if they got a man, you know how we do it!!!! I would love to see Pikes from around the nation come down and pay us a visit at Chapman University...
Hopefully I will see all you Brothers in August...

I'm a Pike at University of Alabama in Huntsville, Theta Pi chapter. My chapter has a lot of success in fundraising by doing casino parties for organizations. We do them for company parties and school reunions.
As for Social gatherings we just rent a park, get a band and "refreshments." We usually draw several hundred people. We don't make any money on the party, but its become an event. People start asking a few months in advance about the party.

I got the easiest way to fundraise!

We all know that Pikes across the nation love wearing shirts that say "we get all your girlfrieds" and so forth. Make t-shirts real cheap for your chapter. Make t-shirts for mixers, and social events. If your chapter is full of studs, all girls will buy t-shirts saying they mixed with you. These t-shirts will hopefully cost you aroung $5-$6 dollars (Do not use those Greek Magazines, they are to expensive. Set up a deal with a local company). Sell them at $10 to all the members and all the girls. That is nothing for a t-shirt now a days.

Sell 50 t-shirts, while making a $5 profit, gives you $250 bucks. Do that 10 times a year makes you $2500 dollars. Create someone in the chapter that is in charge of making t-shirts.. The money just roles in...
