Sorry for the rec thread-question about Mizzou

So, I really really really didn't mean to start another rec thread, but this is a simple question.

My cousin is attending Mizzou this fall. She is going through rush.

However, my sorority's chapter there closed recently. Would it be worthwhile for me to still write some kind of panhellenic letter of introduction? or recommendation? She has an AOPi and a ADPi for aunts, and a Tri Delta and SK for cousins, but no direct legacies so I'm concerned about her chances. I don't know Mizzou's recruitment. So what do you think?

Any other general advice as well?

Well she doesn't need a rec for AOII as we do not have a chapter currently at Mizzou. Beyond that, I know that there were some threads a while back about Mizzou recruitment, and if I'm not mistaken we have alumnae from the various chapters there who used to be around...Is anyone left?

We only take recs from Gamma Phi's.

I would just do your best to help her get ready for recruitment, and to assist her with getting recs for the sororities on her campus by using your network.

Mizzou has gotten pretty competitive - I would help her get recs to the chapters they do have. I don't think a general panhellenic letter would do much good since many of the other PNMs will have "real" recs.

Aw crap. lol, I love my cousin, but she's in KC and I'm in Illinois I'm just not sure how much I'll be able to help her...

I was just hoping a letter of intro would be nice.

Alright, I guess I have work to do then :p
